Busy Busy Busy!

It has been a very busy month of June for the Police People.

There are some fantastic stories that I will be sharing with you over the next few weeks.

I will tell you briefly what has been happening in Blue Hill.

The Olympic torch passed through Blue Hill, it was a truly magical day.  There were hundreds of people lining the streets to see the torch.  The Police people were busy making sure everything went to plan and everybody had a fabulous day!

PC Naz took part in the school sports day!  It was very funny to see him race against the children.  Although, all did not quite go to plan for poor PC Naz.  You will be able to read the full funny story very soon.

Nelson and PC Katie got into a spot of bother down by the River Blue earlier this week.  Thankfully,  Captain Cockle was on his boat and was able to help out.  All will be revealed next week when I tell the full exciting adventure.

As for me and Siren,  we have been getting up to all sorts.  The fun and adventures never end.

Stay Safe everybody!

Our book has been delayed to be released on our first birthday at the end of July....... just to make our birthday that little more special.

It's all happening here in Blue Hill!

Road Safety

Thursday 24th May

I have been at Blue Hill school today spending time with the Children talking about Road Safety.

We were learning about when it is safe to cross and where it is safe to cross.  They were all very good listeners.

They now know to only cross the road at a pelican or zebra crossing providing it is safe.

It is even better to use Mr Stopper the lollipop man who stands outside the school helping children cross the road safely.

Is there a lollipop person outside your school?

Jubilee Joy

Wednesday 23rd May

PC Katie and PC Naz have been really busy organising the Queens Diamond Jubilee celebrations.

All the People from Blue Hill will be having a big party in the High Street.  There will be lots of sandwiches, cakes and juice.  Barbeques, balloons, clowns and even a bouncy castle.  There is so much for them to organise and its all happening next week.

We are all very excited.

Olympic wonder

Tuesday 22nd May

We had some fantastic news here at Blue Hill station today!

The Olympic torch is going to pass through Blue Hill town.

I wonder who is going to carry the torch through the High Street??  We may find out next week.

Hot! Hot! Hot!

Monday 21st May

Phew!  Its has been a very hot day in Blue Hill today.  I walked all around the park, High street and down by the river Blue. On the way back to the Police station I bought myself an ice cream from Mrs Jubbly the ice cream lady.
It was that hot that it melted whilst I was walking and it went all over my uniform!  Sgt Peel was not very happy!

Noisy Alarm

Friday 4th May

The moon is full tonight and the sky is very dark and clear.  I can see all the stars in the sky!
The alarm was going off at the school, it was very loud.  I used my torch to light the way whilst I searched the school.  I found out that the alarm was making all that noise because one of the teachers had left a window open.  I don’t think Mr Stern the head teacher was very pleased because I had to wake him up to switch it off.

Pesky Fox

Thursday 3rd May

I am very tired tonight.  I did not get much sleep today before working through the night again.  Nelson is okay though, he sleeps a lot, day or night!
That pesky fox that I saw last night has emptied one of the bins in the High street.  Rubbish has blown all over the street.  I spent most of the night picking up litter and chasing empty crisp packets!

Lonely Nights

Wednesday 2nd May

I am working through the night the next few nights.  It is very strange when there is nobody about.  Everybody is in bed asleep, except me and Nelson. Although, we did see a fox, a badger and a big friendly owl.

Mean Mikey

Tuesday 1st May

‘Mean Mikey’ was in the park today.  He was not letting the other children play on the swings or slide.  He was just being mean!  I took him home to speak to his parents.  He got told off by his Mum and Dad.  Let us hope he learns to share next time.  It does not hurt to be nice.

Out and about

Monday 30th April

I went for a long walk today.  PC Katie was with Siren, PC Naz was with Nelson and Sgt Peel spent the day at the station.  I walked up and down the High street and met lots of different people.  I was a very nice day.  I drank too much tea though!

Rain, Rain and more Rain

Friday 27th April 2012

Will it ever stop raining??
It has rained all day and I am soaking wet!  I returned to the Police station to dry off and have a cup of tea.  I made my tea and sat at my desk.  Suddenly, a drop of water landed on my head, then another one and then another one!

The Police station roof is leaking!  It is not only raining outside but now inside too!
Sgt Peel is not very happy.........Oh dear!

Football hero

Thursday 26th April 2012

I had been looking forward to this day all week.  It was Blue Hill town FC cup final and I had a ticket!  It was going to be a great game of football!

One of the players never turned up to play because he had a very bad cough and cold.  The manager asked me to play in goal in his place!!!  I was very nervous.  I put on my football shirt and gloves and stood in goal.

We won 2 - 1 .............Hooray!!!

Sheepy Shambles

Wednesday 25th April 2012

What a day!  I spent all day trying to get 10 sheep out of the road!  One of Farmer Pete's fields had a broken gate and all of the sheep escaped!  I was running around everywhere trying to get them back in to the field.

Nelson's suprise

Tuesday 24th April 2012

Today I took Nelson on a suprise visit.  I took him too Blue Hill Police Headquarters to meet all the new Police dog puppies that were training.  He was very excited.  Nelson was showing them what to do.
I think all the puppies want to be like Nelson when their older!

School Talk

Monday 23rd April 2012

I visited Blue Hill primary school today.  I had a long chat with year 2 about "Stranger Danger"!
I explained to them how you should never talk to strangers or grown ups you do not know.
After the talk we all did some paintings of each other.  All the paintings of me are now stuck to the wall in the Police station.

Stuck up a tree

I walked into the park today.  I helped some boys get their football down from a big tree.  I had to use my radio to call PC Naz because I got stuck up the tree and could not get down!  I did feel silly!

Blue Hill Patrol

I drove Siren around Blue Hill all day making sure everybody was safe.  We saw Farmer Pete, Mr Shine and Herbert the park keeper. It was a very busy day.

Broken down car

Today I helped a car who had broken down on Big Town Road, its a very busy road.  It is a good job I had my training on Monday, everything went well and the car got home safely.

Cleaning Siren

This morning I cleaned Siren.  I then helped a lady find her handbag in the High Street.  After lots of searching we eventually found it.  She had left it in the shopping trolley at the supermarket!

Training Day

I spent the day at Blue Hill Police Headquarters today.  I was learning about how I can stay safe on a busy road whilst helping somebody.  I had to wear my very bright yellow jacket so that everybody could see me.
